Senior Services Department

Mission & Goals:
 

The San Xavier District Senior Services Department is a valuable resource for the Wa:k O'Odham elders. The Mission of the department is to care for the wellbeing of the Wa:k O'Odham elders 55 years of age or older and the "special needs" individual(s).
The main focus and top priority of the department is to provide services for the homebound, handicapped/physically and mentally disabled. The Goals of the department is to increase the quality of life and provide services that promote social interaction, good, health, education, recreation and provide nutritional meals for the elders, while also increasing the confidence and independence of our participants.
